Ouma Rusks Ouma Rusks ((アフリカーンス語:Ouma Beskuit) - literally "Grandmother's Rusks") is a South African brand of rusk made from a traditional South African recipe for beskuit.〔Campbell, James. (2010) ("The Americanization of South Africa." ) p. 16〕 It was developed in 1939 as "Outspan Rusks" in the Eastern Cape town of Molteno, but changed its name to Ouma soon after.
